This well-balanced wine is clean, crisp, and very slightly sweet. It opens with lemon blossom, green apple, peach, and wet stone. White flowers, citrus, melon, and lychee flavors lead to a medium-long finish. Pair with slightly oily seafood or spicy Asian cuisine or enjoy as an aperitif.
Vintage and Vineyards
Spring of 2018 was cooler and wetter than the last few years, slowing bud break. However, summer was very hot, putting ripening back on track. The weather was ideal during harvest with warm days and cool nights.
The grapes were harvested at night or in the early hours of the morning to preserve the best flavor and acidity. They were brought directly to the press, without destemming or crushing.
